.as local as it gets.

.Iveta and Nate handpick lobsters off a boat docked in Scituate Harbor.

Eating local means having the resources to find the freshest and most organic products possible.  It helps to make friends with local fishermen and farmers.
When maintaining a strong relationship with the people who provide your food, you not only are receiving a solid product for your family, you are supporting the families around you.
It doesn't hurt to have a dad in the business!

.sunday supper.

On the right, it appears that Ryan opted to tote his groceries home in traditional plastic bags offered by Foodie's Urban Market.  However, RyGuy, as eco-friendly as he is, is actually using two reinsenthel bags.  These bags, unlike traditional canvas shopping bags are easy to lug around as they fold into a carrying case smaller than a pack of cards.  These particular reisenthel bags were purchased at a green and sustainable trade show at the Hynes Convention Center this past March.  You can buy your sharp looking reisenthel re-usable shopping bags at fiddlehead on Newbury Street.
